Very disappointed in G&S, not optimistic for this season

Norfolk, Phillips would meet the wide man requirement.

While we are only likely to start with one up top I don't see the need. Obviously we're light at the mo as Carroll and Valencia are injured but I'd much rather spend money on a top wide who would probably start week in week out than a striker who come October could be 3rd or 4th choice
It'd be a gamble admittedly because if sakho gets injured we'd be struggling massively

I'd prefer Phillips from QPR over Austin if possible.

Delighted with all the very positive rumours about Song coming on a permanent 3 year deal

If true, this is going to be probably our greatest window ever ~ So long as we get a quality striker in!

Re: Anybody else totally underwhelmed with our transfer activity since Ogbonna?
Don't worry we will get the usual 33yo S American striker on loan on Sep 1 as well.
Have heard we are talking to Heeye Macarena

According to Talkshit we are the 5th biggest spenders so far this window, so accusing Sullivan and Gold of being tight is a bit wide of the mark.

We'll likely get Song out of those 3 and that's it. Halilovic is set to go to Sporting Gijon on loan. Hernandez looks like staying as Man United are having as much luck as us in their striker hunt :-)

Re: Anybody else totally underwhelmed with our transfer activity since Ogbonna?
Johnson, you really do have comprehensions problems, don't you? Every player that I mentioned was signed by Pardew, so nothing wrong there. I then asked a question; 'What percentage of thes players were top class signings?'
How the fuck is anything wrong with that question? Now just run along to the OS thread and write your usual moaning rants on there.

Re: Anybody else totally underwhelmed with our transfer activity since Ogbonna?
The window isn't closing just yet and everyone knows how much business gets done in the last week. Bit early to be throwing the toys out the pram. And actually, we have already made one or two smart signings IMHO. I think the owners might just have realised they need a decent striker so unless anyone on here has a spare £20m they are prepared to donate to the kitty I suggest we leave them to it.

Other people have already done it Tipzzzzz, I know you can read as you're replying to me so off you pop to answer their points.

Or is your rant at me an attempt to get out of doing that?
